Decision Making Process : I will take steps of decision making process to solve the case study-1.
1.Identify the decision that needs to be made : What is the problem that needs to be solve,here is the critical problem that identify decision is fifty- fifty.
2.Gather relevant information : I collect any historical data as it relates to this issue.I observe that anybody attempted to solve this problem before.I also collect information from outside of respective team and collect information for various sources and analyze the date for taking perfect decision.I also consult or talking with my colleagues who have relevant experience.
3. Identify alternative solutions: I find more than one possible alternative for decision making,because different stakeholders may have different needs depending on the role.
4. Weigh the evidence : I identify the pros and cons of each option and eliminate the alternative from those choice. I will take SWOT analysis and Decision matrix.
5. Chose among the alternative: Sometimes the right decision is not one of the alternatives,but a blend of a few different alternatives.I take clear-cut option.
6.Take action: As a final decision maker I give the green light, its time to put the solution into action.
7.Review decision and its impact (both good or bad): There are few questions to consider when reviewing my decisions:
-which stakeholders benefited from this decision,which stakeholders were impact negatively?
In this case study -1,I take decision indifferently because project is divided fifty - fifty and as a leader my decision is final take and will be implemented.Leader is also a risk taker.
