Hello, Greeetings! I am Dr. Abdullah Al hafiz
Professionally I am an assistant professor in Zoology of Bangladesh Civil Service (General Education) cadre since 2008 but I have a multidisciplinary work experience. In my 14 years government professional career, I have the experience of direct class teaching as well as in the education administration and development projects. Previously I have worked in different higher education institutions of the government of Bangladesh as lecturer as well as assistant professor from 2008 to 20014. After then I was appointed as the protocol officer to the honorable education minister, the peoples’ republic of Bangladesh until I enrolled myself as a PhD research fellow in September 2017. In June 2021 I was appointed as the assistant project director in a world bank funded project namely as “College Education Development Project (CEDP)” under the ministry of education, Bangladesh where I have developed a strategic plan for the development of tertiary education in Bangladesh. Lastly in February 2023, I have been appointed as the private secretary to the honorable chairman, standing committee on the ministry of local government, rural development and cooperatives. Bangladesh national parliament. Before joining in the civil service, I have worked in a renowned multinational company named “SGS Bangladesh Ltd” for three years and as an “Aquaculture Extension Officer” in the ministry of fisheries and life stock, the peoples’ republic of Bangladesh for a short time.
I have completed my Bachelor and MS in Zoology from the University of Dhaka and PhD in Animal Genomics from China.
